The Habit

Have you ever been to the Habit? If you have I hope that you liked it when you tried one of their burgers because I sure did! I think it is one of the restaurants that has the best tasting burgers. I think so because of how their chicken burger tastes. For example it has BBQ sauce that goes great with their grilled chicken and tomatoes with lettuce!  Don’t forget the wheat bread! It is also good tasting. They also have really good tasting fries. Honestly I would prefer eating those because they are not salty like McDonald’s fries. They have food that you can choose that is healthy which is why I like going there.
I have noticed that every time I would go to the Habit there would be a lot of people there even though it is situated in a place where you can’t see it when you are driving on the road and so it is rare that people know it is there. I guess it is because they have heard of it and they tasted it and they liked it. Even though The Habit is far from where I live, I think it is worth going because it is just so good and healthy.
Their customer service is nice because once I ordered some sweet potato fries without knowing how they tasted so it was my first time tasting them and I did not like them. I went and told the lady in the cash register my little story and I asked if I can just get regular fries and I thought she was going to say too bad but I was wrong! She actually said no problem and made a new batch of fries and threw the others in the trash without telling me I had to pay for the new ones! So that was very nice of them and I am looking forward in seeing them again!

FFN

This book has affected me in a good way. It has affected me that way because it made me think about what I eat. I have made changes in my own life because of it. Now I try not to eat pork or cow meat.  Especially pork because it is disgusting what the farmers feed them. Also cattle because it is really gross the way they are treated in the slaughter house and of the possibilities that something fell inside the place where they make them into packages because you never know if a human part got in there.  It has made me think about how sad that some people work there risking their lives just to get whatever money that the meat dealers give them. Also in what situations that they are in like their working conditions. It just motivates me to get a really good job so my parents don’t have to go through bad conditions either. Even though they don’t go through the slaughter house conditions like with all the blood and the horrible scenes they have to see with the bad routines like getting the guts out the cow, they still go through bad conditions because they are not paid as much for strawberry picking.

The Truth and My First Semester So Far!

The number that is true is 4.
So far this semester is going great for me. What I like about it is that so far all my classes are easy for me. Nothing is very difficult that I can’t handle. I have turned in all my assignments in all my classes so far and I am getting very good grades. It is hard to imagine but I thought college was going to be hard for me but it turned out to be the exact opposite to my surprise and likings. It motivates me to get a very good degree in the future as long as I take it easy and do all my assignments early and on time. What is bugging me is that I have been missing some days from my track class in the mornings because either I get sick, wake up late or I am just lazy which surprises me because one time I even got up to go to that class to run in the rain and now I am lazy?! That is weird . I made a goal that from now on I am going to go to that class no matter what unless it is raining or either I am very sick or injured. The challenge for me now is to keep my goal from now until the semester is over which I think will be fun and enjoyable because the semester is almost over, just this month and half of December and that is it! The work is time taking but I enjoy doing it because I learn more that way and I become smarter! The ultimate payoff is going to be sweet because I am going to have a very good job and I will be able to help my family. In the end what keeps me motivated is that I am going to be able to help those in need of medicine when I get my degree in the job I am planning in having in the future with God in mind.

Nature!

What do you think about nature? I think it’s wonderful! When I go to a place where there is a lot of trees, I just feel so full of energy to explore the wonderful sight. Like for example when I went to The Sequoia National Park I was breathless. I just couldn’t imagine that such a place existed because I would just see places like that in the T.V. I was so happy because that is an example of how God wants us to convert the Earth like. That is his purpose of how we should live. In a place where there is no contamination or air pollution, all natural! Imagine living in a place like that where there is a lot of trees, fresh air and animals! I would just love to live in a place like that!

My Opinion Changed

In the past three years I have changed my attitude and opinion about running as an exercise and my eating habits. In the first year I started, running was just a way to lose weight.  I thought that it was torture and that as soon as I reached my desired weight, I would stop running because I thought I was going to stay like that forever and that I didn’t need to exercise more. As the weeks would pass I started getting better and better at running. Sadly I started eating wrong to reach that goal faster. I did lose the weight but I was so hungry at the end that I was craving everything I would see and I started eating everything. Since I reached my goal I stopped running which made me gain the weight faster and more than what I use to weigh. My brother would always tell me that I better not starve myself but I didn’t listen to him and at the end he found out because I gained a lot of weight and he got mad at me. I did that twice. I guess it had to happen twice so I could learn my lesson.
Now my brother gives me more good eating habits and advice so I can reach my goal. He always encourages me to stay healthy and to keep running by not starving myself. He checks up on me whenever to see if I am running and eating healthy. Thanks to him I am reaching my goal the good way which is by eating healthy and making running as an exercise as a routine I enjoy doing every day. Now I know that losing weight is something I have to work on everyday to stay in good shape and that it’s not going to be a temporary thing  if I want to look good. Even though I still don’t reach my weight, I am seeing the results little by little and it makes me happy to know it’s for all my good and hard work! Running to me now is something that I love to do and I don’t want to stop doing it ever and is not torture anymore, it’s something I have fun doing!

Family Matters A Lot

Family to me is something important because they are the main support you have to have to live a good life. They help you out when you are feeling down and they are happy for you when you are happy. Family also makes you who you are. For example if they don’t pay attention to you, you might end up neglected and not have that much self-esteem to make friends because you might think they will neglect you to.
In a family, all its members have to contribute to it in order for it to be successful according to the Bible. God wants it to be happy so that is why he gave us instructions so it could be that way. Since he created the family, he knows exactly what we need to do to be cooperative in it so it can last forever. First of all we need to demonstrate love to one another in your family like God does to each and every one of us by giving his son Jesus to the world so we can receive his forgiveness. The father needs to love his wife like he loves his own body just like Jesus loved his followers and gave his life for them. Even if the wife sometimes doesn’t act with good judgment, the father needs to remember he to commits mistakes to and that he is not perfect either. The husbands need to be considerate of their wives because they are very fragile. He needs to have in mind her limitations and her physical needs like the love both need to show each other. The bible says that he who loves his wife, he loves his own self because once they get married they become one person. Each one has to be occupied in satisfying the needs of one another and not each one just worried about their own needs (What the Bible Really Teaches).
The same goes for the wife, she needs to learn how to forgive and forget to. That is why the bible says that a happy marriage is a union of people that know how to forgive each other. She also needs to remember that the husband might do mistakes to and she should not try to take over his position in the family because it belongs to him. As for the kids, they should obey their parents like Jesus obeyed his father which makes God happy and their parents to (What the Bible Really Teaches).
