Hi! My name is Alejandra Morales! I was born in Ventura and I grew up in Oxnard. When I was little I attended Tierra Vista Elementary School in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. There I had really awesome teachers whose last names are Mrs. Serrano, Mrs. Moreno, Mrs. Arellano, Mrs. Nodarse, Mrs. Hutton, and finally Mrs. Bain! Each of these teachers helped me out a lot to succeed and I am very grateful for that. I recently went to visit them and found out some got married and others retired. I remember I had Mrs. Nodarse for third grade and she loved art a lot. She would always make us do art projects and I liked her a lot because she always complemented my drawings which made me love art even more. I remember Mrs. Hutton would reward us for knowing and passing our little times table strips of paper with ice cream with toppings! Also I remember Mrs. Bain put me to a class called GATE. That was a really fun class because we learned a lot and went to field trips. When I was in junior high, I attended a school called Ocean View. I went there from sixth to eighth grade. I had a blast at the beginning of my years there but at the end I didn’t like it. Finally in my high school years, I attended I school called Channel Islands. The experience there made me not like high school. After that I wished I would have done home school instead to be honest.
Now I graduated high school and I am so happy I got out! I love how going to college feels and I am grateful I am attending Oxnard College because it gives me a lot of benefits. For example: Oxnard College offers a track class that meets every weekday and you get credit for it. I think that is so excellent because I run everyday so I took that class to get credit for something I always do! Also it is close to where I live and I could just go walking to college. Right now I am just focused on college and my spiritual life. I just got baptized this July 23, 2011 and that day is the most important day of my life because that day, by me getting baptized, I dedicated my life to Jehova, God, and I made a vow to always try to do the right thing according to the Bible. I am joyous that I made that decision because I feel more close to God and I feel him helping me in everything I do. Oh yeah and I am also focused on working out everyday to get into shape and spending time with family and friends.
In the future I plan to go to a university to get a diploma on some job that has to do with helping people with either medicine or mental and emotional disabilities. I am very interested in helping people because I just feel so good when I help people get better at things and helping them enjoy life like I am. I am also looking forward to getting my license and a car! Also hopefully when I get a good job with a good pay I could move out with a friend to Thousand Oaks to live a more calm and peaceful life.
Hi Alejandra...I enjoyed your blog. I think you are very lucky to have had so many teachers that influenced you in a positive way. I actually think that is pretty rare. I hope you enjoy your experience in college.

Jehovah has helped me with everything in my life. I haven't gotten baptized yet but i do plan on dedicating my life to Jehovah once i harmonize my life with the bible! but good luck with everything and your future!!!
